The fractional-weight Mexican Silver Libertad coins from the Mexican Mint debuted in 1991, nine years after the 1982 release of the 1 oz coins in the collection. The 1/10 oz coins originally had exceptionally high mintage figures, but in recent years have seen much lower figures that typically fall below 25,000 annually.

The last time the 1/10 oz Mexican Silver Libertad had a mintage higher than 25,000 coins was in 2002 when 35,000 coins were issued. The recent 2018 coin in this weight saw a significant jump from 8,850 coins in 2017 to 20,300 coins.

On the obverse of all 2019 Mexican Silver Libertad Coins is the design of Winged Victory. She was a symbol for the Mexican people during their revolution against Spains colonial rule.
