On the reverse face of the 2019 1/2 oz Australian Silver Pig Coins is a new design for the series by Ing Ing Jong. The silver coins have their own, unique design separate of that in the Australian Gold Pig release. The coins include one large, adult pig standing in the background as four little piglets run around in the foreground.
The obverse side of 2019 1/2 oz Australian Silver Pig Coins features the right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is depicted here in a fourth-generation design from the Royal Mint of England and Ian Rank-Broadley created in 1998. It featured on all British coins until 2016, and now continues only on the Lunar Series II collection from Perth Mint for the final issue.
