Royalty company Sandstorm Gold (NYSE: SAND, TSX: SSL) said today it sold a record 17,444 ounces in Q1, up from 13,393 ounces a year prior.
Revenue was $31.0 million compared to $21.3 million in Q1 2020.
“Based on the Company’s existing royalties, attributable gold equivalent ounces sold for 2021 is forecast to be between 55,000 and 62,000 ounces. The Company is forecasting attributable gold equivalent production of 125,000 ounces in 2024,” said the company in a news release.
Sandstorm said it has a strong balance sheet with over $140 million in cash and over $52 million in equity and debt investments, “…significant capital available to propel the Company into the next phase of growth.”
